My name is Júlia Casals, I live in Barcelona and my chosen profession is one of the most beautiful occupations in the world.

Interior design is my passion

I conceive each project as if it were my own. I like the overall vision of a space, which is why I specialize in complete renovations of private homes, offices, businesses premises, etc.
Years of experience ─and my children─ have taught me that our homes must adapt to each and every phase of our lives.
I like to create timeless spaces that outlast any trends.
A good layout and careful lighting are key aspects to my work.
I seek to create an atmosphere that will make you want to stay home, allow you to work in ideal conditions, and ensure your friends won’t want to leave.
My goal is to create warm and contemporary spaces using fine materials like wood and iron, modern finishes like microcement, antiques, furniture of my own design, works of art and textiles.

How I work

We meet for a coffee and you tell me your dream.
It is important for this first meeting to be harmonious and trustful.
I present my fees and describe what they cover.
I am passionate about my work, and my fees are only a small part of my commitment to your project.
I get started with the preliminary information you provide, studying the space and considering all the possibilities for making the most of it.
I propose several ideas and we decide which is best.
Then I present an initial design with the chosen idea.
Once you’re sure about what you want, I develop the final design.
We choose furniture and textiles and I design everything to meet your needs.
I manage the renovation so that you don’t have to worry about anything.
Then we just have to decide on the tiny details that will really make the difference.
